It's Too Bad

There is nothing that demonstrates greater ignorance and lack of judgment than drawing false comparisons, making inappropriate analogies and failing to see the true similarities that exist between two situations.

Fallin Asleep at the Wheel Again, Baby

My band played an open mic last night. We intended to play five, maybe ten songs in two sets. We ended up playing closer to fifteen and closed the bar out. It was good times. Don't know if there is anything I enjoy in life more. Maybe eating a good plate of spaghetti with parmesian. It's still a toss up.

Now I'm sitting in Crim Pro and can barely keep my eyes open. I guess there are only so many hours in the day. If you buy time and energy in one place, you pay for it later.

I'm Zoning the Right Way

So I'm driving my girlfriend to school after spending the afternoon together. We're talking about this and that and I completely space out as to where I'm going. The next thing I know I'm halfway to her house. She sees what I'm doing and a big smile comes across her face.

"You know what you're doing? You're zoning, but when you zone, you zone towards me!" She said.

I could have pulled off the road and hugged her.

What is Diversity?

I've searched long and hard and talked to many people, and the best answer I can come up with is that all "diversity" means is that you can be a racist as long as you are the right kind of racist.
