A Recipe for Safety

"My opinion is if you have doubts about whether or not something is right, don't do it."

I read this in regards to some religious teachings recently. I won't point a finger as to what religion or what it pertains to. Those considerations are not relevant.

Stay away from the cliff it says. Don't challenge, don't wonder, just stay safe. A certain recipe for safety.

And mediocrity

And self-censorship

And an end to growth (outside of perfectly approved lines of inquiry).
